I wish I could take credit for this… but Edward’s domestic goddess of a mum made these to match the bunting for his christening… amazing! Too good to eat right?

Edwina asked me to make some bunting for her nursery and she was very specific in which fabrics she wanted to use and now I can see why! Her nursery looks lovely with the coordinating Clarke&Clarke fabric used for the notice board and tablecloth.

And she took the time out to send me a few photos and a little message!

“Hi Lucy, I have just given birth to a little boy last week so things have been rather frantic. We used the bunting for his room and it looks wonderful in there. I managed to take a few pics before i went into labour!”

Well now that our wedding is in the past and we’ve had the honeymoon and I’ve written all the thank you cards and I’ve got the dress dry-cleaned… weddings are pretty much out of my system! Well almost…. I still love looking at some great wedding pics. And the new Mrs Verguld sent me this of her wedding marquee complete with the bunting I made her. She’s actually hung the bunting against some purple netting and I know that that is in the colour of her bridesmaids and it really makes the bunting stand out against the background. I really hope they both had a wonderful day! xxx

These are the best fabrics and you can do so much with them. It comes in pale pink, pale blue, pale green and beige and with four different spots and I was asked for this one to mix it up with the three colours. So cute for a nursery. And afterwards I got this message from Andrea…

“Thank you ever so much for the bunting, it is fabulous and matches like a dream. I put it up immediately and looks gorgeous, it really finishes the room off.  The sage green was the perfect shade.  I will be decorating the playroom next so I shall be back for more!!”

 

It might say something about me, but I went to this website and the first thing I saw were the words ‘Giant Cupcake!’ and they had me hooked!! I made some bunting for Hayley for a wedding fayre to decorate her stall and this is what she makes. Gorgeous looking cupcakes for weddings and birthdays or… perhaps just to celebrate the fact it’s Friday?! Any excuse for cupcakes I always say!

I love hearing feedback from customers, but I guess when the bunting is for a little baby it’s harder to know if they really like it! Here’s some feedback though from lovely Jen, who bought this for her baby Darcey. And I love that name – solely because of Miss Bussell!!

“You are fabulous. It is lovely, I love it! It’s totally her – very cute and a little bit like patchwork. The fabrics work so well together, I love the patchwork fabric, I’m so pleased you put them both in, gorgeous. Everything is perfect and it will grow with her. Sat looking at it smiling. Thank you so so much it is perfect!”

And then I heard back from Jen when she sent me these photos to say…

“Got it up straight away! She now stays in her cot chatting in the morning and when we go in to get her she is always pointing at it. Jen x”

I hope that means that’s a thumbs up from baby Darcey!

I absolutely don’t mind in the slightest if customers choose their own fabric. They can either say ‘I want that one’ and send me a link or they can send me the material in the post. Anyway, Edwina asked me to buy this combo of fabrics and they’re lovely… proper deckchair bunting!

The best campsite ever I think… and that’s quite a claim. But this was an amazing weekend in Norfolk for my friend’s 30th birthday… and of course the bunting came too…
