This bunting design came direct from the customer, I did absolutely nothing! She asked for denim and she asked for yellows and oranges for the lettering. So bingo! Here it is. And I happened to have the little felt stars in reds, oranges and yellows, so I added those as well. And I absolutely love it. So vibrant and perfect for a little boy’s bedroom.
And this is what Luca’s mum had to say,
“Thank you so much for all the work you put into it, it is lovely and has been beautifully made & I will pass your details onto all my friends. xAmi”
Thanks Ami!!!

I had to buy this cushion right? I had no choice…

Yeah, I know I’m not great at the embroidery, but it’s legible right? And I love the idea that you can add a little personal message to the bunting, especially if it’s being given as a gift for a christening. I so want one of those embroidery machines though!! My spidery handwriting embroidery takes me forever to do!

Cath Kidston vintage cars teamed up with the stone stars. Very cute combo for a little boy’s nursery. Or a big boy’s office perhaps!!!

It really seems like we’ve had tonnes of bank holidays recently – not that I’m complaining! And of course, there’ll be another one coming up on June 5th for Her Majesty the Queen! Apparently, there are more Jubilee street parties registering than there were for the Royal Wedding. So if you’re planning something, or if like us, there’s a little bit of a quiet competition going on on your street to deck the front of your house out with union jack bunting, then look no further!
Union Jack bunting on sale through My Bunting, but with a lovely vintage floral fabric style, which will really stand out against the usual red/white/blue bunting that’s out there at the moment. Currently on sale through my shop.
Both on sale for £12, with free postage! And if you wanted multiple lengths at a reduced price, then get in touch for a quote!
(Just a note that the web designing husband has been tasked with putting the heart bunting on my shop, but it’s not there yet!!! I’ll probably need to make him a cup of tea to put him in a good mood before he does that!) lucy@mybunting.co.uk

Lovely colours for a neutral nursery and I was asked to include two little teddy bears either end. I love making these padded letters, but each letter is cut out by hand and it’s entirely hand stitched. So as you can imagine, it takes me forever to make! So fiddly, especially when you’ve got to stuff little teddy bear arms!

I love the colours of this bunting. Really pretty and unusual for a little girl’s bedroom, but this is completely the style I love, so it was a joy to make. Gorgeous fabric too, as always from Fabric Rehab!

And more Christmas bunting!

Gorgeous Clarke & Clarke fabrics for this little girl’s bunting. Really high quality cotton fabric that’s just as nice as Cath Kidston prints in my opinion!

This was a request for some bunting to hide the top of a blind. So she wanted some lovely modern fabrics, but for it not to look too cutsey or vintage. I hope this is what she wanted! Lovely spotty fabric with slightly longer triangles as well and I made them to an exact length as well, so that they stretch across the top of the blind. (oh and the photo shows off my new kitchen too!!! heheh)
